AMAPEI 2026 Professional Development Day – Save the Date
The Association of Municipal Administrators of Prince Edward Island (AMA-PEI) is pleased to announce that the 2026 Fall Professional Development Day will take place on Friday, September 25, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Kinkora Place, 45 Anderson Road, Kinkora, PEI.
This full-day event will provide municipal administrators from across Prince Edward Island with an opportunity to learn, connect with colleagues, share experiences, and discuss important issues affecting municipalities.
Presentation Topics
The day will include presentations and discussions on a variety of topics, including:
- Municipal tax assessment
- PEI Infrastructure Secretariat – Gas Tax and MCEG
- Municipal liability
- Harassment policies and codes of conduct
- Asset management
- The “CAO Meeting” with new councils
- Introduction of the new CAO Buddy Program
- CAO Open Mic, providing an opportunity for administrators to share ideas, challenges, and experiences
Bring a Municipal Administrator Friend
AMA-PEI members are also encouraged to invite a municipal administrator who is not currently an AMA-PEI member to attend and learn more about the association, its professional development opportunities, and the value of connecting with municipal administrators from across the province.
